New Zealand – Christchurch trip

Hello everyone.
Today, I talk about the trip to New Zealand, the second half.
In the second half, I went from Auckland on the North Island to Christchurch on the South Island.

I went to Lake Tekapo first. Lake Tekapo which is said to be the most starry sky in the world, was the one.

However, at night, there were many clouds and the stars could not be seen.

I want another chance to go someday.

And next day, I did a bungee jump with a hammer spring.

Apparently, this is the birthplace of bungee jumping in New Zealand.

Then I drove the car through the mountains.
What a big accident on the way.

There was no one around me and I couldn’t call in English, so I was very in trouble.
There was only one private house, and the people who lived there helped me.
They also contacted the police and car rental companies.

And the police said, “You need to go to court because you drove dangerously.”
But a conscientious police officer said, “you don’t need to try if you pay all the repairs, so you can go back to Japan.”
I paid NZD 4000.

I was wondering if I could return to Japan, but many people helped me.
I would like to thank the people who helped me again someday.
Many of New Zealand were really kind.
