Hachiko

I went to Shibuya in Tokyo for a long time.
So I looked at the statue of Hachiko.
I’ve seen it many times in the past, but I saw the statue of Hachiko after a long time today also.
So today I would like to talk about Hachiko.

 

Perhaps everyone outside of Japan may know about Hachiko.
This story of Hachiko is very famous in Japan, and the story was also made into a movie in Hollywood.

The story of this movie is written like a true Japanese story.
1920’s, a dog came to Shibuya Station to pick up his owner every day.
That’s a dog is Hachiko.
But suddenly one day the owner passed away due to illness.
Hachi who lost owner comes to pick up the owner every day, no matter how many years had passed.
Then Hachi came to be known every people.

This is a real story.
I thought it was very beautiful that the hearts of animals and people were connected.
I have never had a dog before, but in the future, I would like to keep the same kind of dog as Hachi.
